I NEED bible verses for depression and anxiety. My friend is having a really bad time tonight and I need verses.

I was scrolling on my facebook and I see this on my page from one of the church members: 
 FB friends- I’ve been a little quiet this week, but that doesn’t mean it’s been a quiet week. Gregg has been suffering with flu-like symptoms & shortness of breath for a while, and I finally convinced him to go to the doctor’s Monday. While there, the Dr. checked his blood pressure and decided to give him a “just in case” EKG & , and discovered that his heart was enlarged & his blood pressure was through the roof and asked him to get to Pheonixville ER asap. After a few initial tests, he was admitted Tuesday am. And echocardiogram followed by heart catheter this morning & afternoon revealed significant blockages in 2 of his arteries. He is scheduled for angioplasty and stent insertion early Friday, tomorrow will be spent trying to get his blood pressure down to ensure the success of the procedure. 

I refrained from telling too many people, because I really needed to focus on what was going on with him, but feel that it is serious enough now that I need to ask for as much prayer as possible. We have already felt and seen a tremendous amount of support, and for that we are extremely grateful. For now, we don’t need anything but prayer.. and lots of it… I know there are many of you out there who will, and our family truly appreciates it! 

Can y’all pleaaaase pray for them. And their daughter Miranda? I haven’t heard from them about her but she passed out and hit her head at college the other day. Thanks <3
